Terms and Business Entities¶
In this article we provide a brief description of main terms and business entities used in Payments and Transfers for Providers product. For terms in business entities applicable to all QIWI products, please refer to this article.
Agent Bank¶
A credit institution that together with a clearing bank and an operator has entered into an agreement providing for interaction to execute transfers from payers to providers.
Operator¶
A payment aggregator attracted by the clearing bank and carrying out its activities in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation.
Payer¶
An individual from whose accounts, cards or other means of payment funds are debited to pay for goods or services. A payer does not need to be a client of QIWI, partner, or provider receiving the payment.
