Terms and Business Entities¶
In this article, we will provide a brief description of common terms and business entities applicable to all QIWI products. For terms and entities that are used within a specific product, see the section with the product name: Internet Acquiring, etc.
Client¶
An individual who uses a QIWI product or a product offered by a partner.
Installment Payment¶
One of the payment methods for an order, in which the total cost of the order is divided into several parts, allowing the client to pay it gradually.
Partner¶
A company that utilizes one or multiple QIWI products.
Product¶
A digital service, for example, identification or internet acquiring.
Provider¶
A supplier of goods or services, such as mobile communication, internet access, and more.
Recurring Payment¶
A recurring transfer of money from a client’s card or account to a business account. This type of payment is also known as an automatic payment.
Subscriber¶
An individual who has entered into an agreement with a provider for the provision of services.
User Interface¶
A website or mobile application used for interactions.

Frequently, the user interface is developed by the partner, it depends on the business scenario.
API¶
Application Programming Interface - a software interface for online interaction between a partner and QIWI.
OTP¶
One Time Password - a single-use password.
